Proof listening for narration errors and audio issues

Hi, I’m Carrie, a UK-based proofreader for audio books, podcasts and other audio media. I am a passionate reader and listener with a keen ear for detail. I have also recently started out as an audiobook narrator and have experience editing/mastering my own audio.

I’ll listen carefully to your audio and compare it against your manuscript, identifying missed or incorrect words, stumbles, mispronunciations, repeated sections and other errors. I can also flag audio QC issues, such as unintended background noise. As I have a veterinary/medical/scientific background, I am also able to proof complicated technical texts in addition to fiction.
