Ty Lasky

Mature, authoritative, special interest in history and general non-fiction

I was a researcher in robotics and automation for my entire career. I bring this expertise along with my strong personal interests in science, history, technology, and general nonfiction to my narration work.

I am a professional narrator, and also have substantial experience in teaching and technical and management presentations, which I a leverage in my narration work. Along with my professional narration work, I volunteer as a tutor/mentor as a way to give back.

My narrations to date have focused on history, technology, AI, politics, pets, and philosophy.

In my photo, that’s my amazing German Shepherd / Siberian Husky, Loki. I can’t get him or my equally amazing British wife Lisa to spend time in my recording studio. Can’t blame them!

I thrive on narrating books that teach me something new or offer valuable insights, while bringing the author's message to life. My goal? To keep the narration engaging, authentic, and dynamic while letting the material shine. What do the author and listener need, and how can I deliver it seamlessly? From narration/recording to editing, mastering, and final delivery, I provide a full-service experience—precision, professionalism, and passion in every project.
