Stories continually inspire me to learn and grow and I believe we can learn to live well from them. I was born & raised in the beautiful mountains & orchards of rural south-central PA (I now live in West MI). My dad farmed; my mother homeschooled my sister & me. From them, I learned to hold passionate convictions. At 12, I dreamed of being a character on the family radio show "Adventures in Odyssey"! "Wishbone" pointed me to the classics. 😉 An aunt fostered a love of learning & curiosity in the world around me. This serves me well in research and in being well-read in a variety of genres & topics. My sensitive, intuitive personality aids me in creating living, breathing characters. I am of a romantic turn of nature, love thought provoking discussions, and hope to encourage others on to excellence. I particularly enjoy performing motivational/inspirational fiction & non-fiction, historical f., classics, children's lit, clean reads, & audio drama. My voice is bright, clear, fresh. I appreciate fine art, culture, psychology, theology, history (my favorite time period is 1900-1950), home decorating, fashion, informative podcasts, and films & documentaries. I love crafting: mixed media paper art journaling, making cards for seniors, embroidery.

One of my favorite genres is the historically-based fiction novel. This is a romantic, dramatic scene featuring M/F characters.
Intimately narrated inspirational non-fiction piece; 1st person. My own faith helps the narration come across authentically, making me a good fit in this genre.
My heart is for quality children's literature. This clip features dialogue in contrasting children's and elderly voices.
Introspective 1st person is a naturally good fit for me. This sarcastically witty scene with heart features inner and outer dialogue.
This humorous scene features a male and female conversation, in the British RP accent and showcases my comedic timing.
