Santana Dempsey is a multi-racial actress, writer and audiobook narrator known for her grounded, emotionally nuanced storytelling and natural vocal warmth. Adopted out of foster care at the age of six with her biological sister, Santana grew up understanding firsthand the power of story as a means of connection, survival and belonging.

Her work is rooted in a lifelong devotion to storytelling across mediums, including theatre, television, film, and audiobooks, with screen and stage credits including Kenan, Scandal, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, MegaChurch Murder, Lowlife, and Real Women Have Curves at the Pasadena Playhouse. She was also selected for the ABC Talent Showcase and has appeared in numerous national commercials.

As a narrator, Santana has recorded multiple audiobooks across genres, including memoir, romance, and erotica, working with publishers such as Recorded Books. Her background in dubbing and loop group work for Netflix, Hulu, and Scholastic has further sharpened her versatility, emotional range, and vocal control.

Santana approaches narration as an intimate exchange between voice and listener, guided by lived experience, emotional truth, and a deep respect for the inner lives of the characters.
