I was an early reader as a child, and books quickly became my best friend. I then also became enamored with theatre after my first roll as Linus in our 3rd grade rendition of “Charlie Brown’s Christmas.” While I followed the practical advice of my elders and did not pursue theatre as a major in college, I did complete minors both in theatre and in music while getting my BS. I was then accepted into an MFA acting program, however, for a myriad of reasons, I withdrew from the program before classes started. I worked in the theatre world for a couple of years after that before returning to grad school obtaining MS & AuD degrees. I practiced Audiology at a major University Medical Center before transitioning to Surgical Neurophysiology and working in the OR. My incredible husband and I started dating after working together in a production of “Grease” with me on stage and him working his magic in sound and lighting. Although theatre brought us together and resulted in 3 terrific sons, our creative time while raising them and working jobs outside the theatre resulted in our theatrical activities becoming more hobby status. However, my attention is now excitedly refocused on the first two loves in my life - reading and theatre!
