Julia Eve

Witty, Clear & Engaging British narrator

My love for reading started as a child and I studied English Language and Literature at university. I was always drawn to acting though, so I trained as an actor. I worked professionally for 7 years, performing in a variety of Shakespeare plays, children's theatre and short films. My favourite role was as Jane Austen, Lizzy Bennet and Anne Elliot in 'Jane Austen - An Elegant Portrayal'. I then took a break from my career to start a family. In 2015 I decided to combine my love of reading and acting and started narrating audiobooks and I have now narrated over 50 books. I am passionate about telling stories and bringing characters to life. My favourite genres include historical fiction, classic fiction, detective fiction, mysteries and thrillers. I like to read as widely as possible in both fiction and non-fiction and I am also an avid listener of audiobooks.
