I'm a novelist with a background in amateur theatre, education, journalism, and music. I completed an acting course twenty years ago, and subsequent stage roles included Truvy in 'Steel Magnolias' (warm-heared hairstylist with a Southern US accent), Mrs Chevelly in 'The Importance of Being Earnest' (cold-hearted and aloof), and Maria Ziegler (lead soprano) in 'The Dancing Years'. I have sung in many choirs over the years, and contributed harmonies and percussion to Australian band Coffee Jar Slide in the early noughties. My narration style is natural and understated, with an accent that is fairly neutral but leans towards British RP. I'm so excited to bring your words to life!
