I was born on Monday, November 6th, 1967, in Jacksonville, Florida. I've always been different, I knew this at an early age, and was treated differently because of it. At the age of nine, my family moved to Bryson City, North Carolina. My uneventful "start in life" proceeded into my young adult years. I was a Deputy Sherriff for eight years, in North Carolina. I left the Sherriff's Department, to program computers, (web application interfaces), for companies like La-Z-Boy, internet start-ups, and subsidiaries of Microsoft. I've done factory work, restaurant work, sales work, and held positions in management, steel fabrication, wood work, construction, and so on. In short, I've spent a lifetime trying to find a satisfying place, where I belong, in the U.S. workforce. But; behind all of the moving and searching, I moved among you. I listened, I watched, I mimicked, I absorbed every moment of hurt, elation, surprise, downfall, and jubilation. I obtained a vast array of voices I could perform, feelings I could emote, and wild actions to go along with it all. Then one day, I discovered audio books. I thought, perhaps, I could put a lifetime of voices, accents, and feelings into something that I could actually enjoy doing day by day. So here I am, on my very FIRST portal for audiobook narration. Hoping, or maybe even praying, for a chance to do something that I believe in, and will be worth my effort. A chance to leave a legacy that others may enjoy.
