Erin is a nonfiction audiobook narrator who also specializes in character work and narration for full cast productions and audio dramas, all from her home studio in Oakland, CA – the Sunny Side of the Bay.
 
Her work over the past 8 years has been mainly full cast audiobook productions, asynchronously narrating and voicing a wide range of characters across more than 40 projects. Narrating 8 of the 14 Wizard of Oz books and creating character voices for the other 6 is her largest full cast project to date. Erin is drawn to the more dramatic/eccentric roles- bringing out the unexpected sides of a character, the humor, the subtle fears, the masked cruelty … be they human or not. She also shines in the caregiver role as mom, teacher or librarian. She has recently expanded her character work to audio dramas with roles in Lengthy Tangent's The Collection of Moira Graves, and Theme Party and upcoming Norman's Angels. 
 
Erin's nonfiction style is warm and conversational with the tone of a trusted friend or teacher - someone who will be patient & kind, but not pull her punches. Her most recent being "The Business of being a Writer", Erin has also narrated memoir, self help, psychology, eduction, health and wellness, caregiving, and grief.
 
Fiction finds her in middle grade ("Goosebumps #53 Chicken Chicken", "Toast of Destiny"), horror ("Credenza" and frequent contributions to the horror podcast Tales to Terrify). She would love to explore romcoms and cozy mystery and read more poetry. 
 
With training from the Berkeley Repertory School of Theater in voice over, improv, acting and dialect, Erin has coached with nonfiction master Sean Pratt and Jesse Bickford and completed Joel Froomkin’s Acting for Audio 1 & 2, Narrator.life and PANA classes and an abundance of workshops and coaching. She co-manages BANG! the Bay Area Narrator’s Group.
 
Erin grew up in the heart of Arizona's Sonoran Desert, but fell quickly in love with the vibrancy of California's Bay Area. She is a mom, fandom fanatic, museum volunteer, and food truck enthusiast whose favorite color is piñata. Erin curls (think ice and stones), has a BS in Industrial Design, been a college radio DJ, driven a crane in the Port of Oakland, did a 4 year stint as a 6’4 green cougar elementary school mascot, loves to work with children and will not hesitate to embarrass her family with funny voices, or snippets of song at all possible moments. Warm, wise, witty -serious fun.
