The Creatures of Creekside
Short Story Summary: Charlie Baker returns to his hometown to make amends with his friends and family. While he is there, he finds out that the town is overrun with hostile Shapeshifters. He and the people of the town join together with a friendly Shifter to take down the mastermind behind it all.
Snippet 1 would be a sentimental but uneasy scene, as Charlie is seeing his father again for the first time in a year.
Snippet 2 would have a suspicious and aggressive tone, as people are starting to turn on each other.
