All’s Fair in Love

98K adult contemporary Romance - in duet. Book 2 in a series. Looking for MMC. All accents are American. Characters are late 20s/early 30s.

Budget: offering PFH. Depending on experience, 100-200 PFH. It will be done in duet. Both fem narrator and audio editor are already on board.

Schedule: Manuscript will be ready early July. I will need audio completed by August 15th.

Note: There are high levels of spice in the series, but the characters are emotionally expressive internally and externally. The story is more about them falling in love than sex. There is sex though but the focus is on the characters’ connections.

Scene:
This takes place after Aiden believes he has lost everything. Aiden has been playing Dani's wingman as she dates a man her mom set her up with while Aiden works with her on a fundraiser for Dani's school. Aiden's company is sponsoring it for publicity (and so he can see her). Both Dani and Aiden have feelings for each other, however, each have their own reason for believing they are not reciprocated. Dani thinks Aiden is helping her for his family image while his father loathes her. Aiden knows Dani wants to be with a polished politician, like all the men she dates, unlike his messy family.

Dani has called it off with the person she's been on dates with, but also tells Aiden they shouldn't hang out anymore as it is not fair to him. Aiden leaves as she requested.

The scene follows their "split". Instead of going to the fundraiser meeting, he goes to dinner with friends: Jack and Sam. They offer their variety of support.
